Discussion Topic: "Bullying as a Systemic Phenomenon. From Understanding Mechanisms to Correctional Practice: Possibilities of Emotionally-Focused Imagery Therapy (EFIT)."
At the seminar, the phenomenon of bullying will be examined through the lens of a systemic approach as a problem of group dynamics. The focus will be not only on the phenomenology of roles (victim, perpetrator, bystanders) but also on the deep-seated mechanisms that trigger and reinforce this destructive dynamics: from environmental conditions and personal characteristics of participants to unconscious group mechanisms.
Main attention will be given to correctional and developmental work with the consequences of bullying. Based on real case studies, we will analyze:
- A differentiated approach to providing psychological assistance to the victim, perpetrator, and bystanders using Emotionally-Focused Imagery Therapy (EFIT) methods.
- Algorithms and techniques aimed at working through traumatic experience and forming a healthy life position.
