Dear students!
We invite you to participate in the photography competition "Such a Diverse Russia," dedicated to Russia Day, Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, and Day of the Russian Flag.
The competition aims to draw attention to Russia's natural and historical-cultural heritage, foster patriotism, promote environmental care, popularize the teaching profession through photography, and support traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.
The competition features five categories:
- "Created by Nature and Man" – photographs of nature, natural phenomena, animals, architecture, technology, etc.;
- "Urban/Rural Life" – photographs of settlements, people, human activities, interactions, etc.;
- "Symbols of Russia" – photographs featuring the flag, coat of arms, or other official/unofficial symbols of Russia;
- "Proud of the Memory of Heroes" – photographs of monuments dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 or featuring participants in military actions defending or protecting the homeland;
- "Family Archive" – photographs featuring the participant's family/family members.
Competition Rules:
- Each participant may submit no more than three works;
- Only photographs taken in Russia are eligible.
Submission Requirements:
- Format: JPEG (JPG);
- Minimum image size: at least 2500 pixels on the long side;
- Entries must showcase Russia's diversity—its nature, cultural values, traditions, and daily life;
- Use of others' photographs is prohibited;
- Content must align with the competition theme.
Judging Criteria:
- Originality;
- Technical execution and quality;
- Creative approach;
- Relevance to the stated theme.
Submit your entries from August 15 to September 8, 2025, via email to fotokonkurs.mgppu@mail.ru, specifying the category, title, location/date of the photo, and participant contact details.
Winners will be announced on September 17 on the MSUPE website and the Telegram channel "MSUPE Extracurricular Life".
