By the decision of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the Formation and Updating of the "White List" of Scientific Journals* (IWG), the Russian part of the Unified State Register of Scientific Publications – the "White List" – has been formed. The register was created for monitoring and assessing publication activity in the Russian Federation. The main distinction of the new version is the prioritization of publications in domestic scientific journals.

The approval of the Russian part of the "White List" took place in several stages. The Russian Scientific Information Center (RSIC) formed an initial list of scientific journals, which was sent for evaluation to the relevant specialized and regional branches of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Based on the received expert assessments, the IWG assigned domestic journals levels from 1 to 4.

As of September 9, 2025, 3,120 journals are included in the Russian part of the register:

  • Level 1 – 634 journals,
  • Level 2 – 705 journals,
  • Level 3 – 916 journals,
  • Level 4 – 865 journals.

The complete list is available on the "White List" website at: journalrank.rcsi.science.

By the end of 2025, the IWG plans to approve the procedure for including new journals in the "White List" and form the final version of the register, including foreign publications.

All 15 scientific journals of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) have been included in the Russian part of the "White List". The distribution of MSUPE journals by level is as follows:

  • Level 1 (9 journals): "Clinical Psychology and Special Education," "Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy," "Cultural-Historical Psychology," "Psychological Science and Education," "Psychology and Law," "Psychological-Educational Studies," "Modern Foreign Psychology," "Social Psychology and Society," "Experimental Psychology."
  • Level 2 (3 journals): "Autism and Developmental Disorders," "Bulletin of Practical Psychology of Education," "Social Sciences and Childhood."
  • Level 3 (2 journals): "Modeling and Data Analysis," "Language and Text."
  • Level 4 (1 journal): "Extreme Psychology and Personal Safety."

Thus, all MSUPE publications are included in the "White List," confirming their high quality and the university's contribution to the development of psychological science.
