The authors of the issue propose an adapted tool for assessing the level of development of visual-figurative thinking in preschoolers (I.A. Burlakova, N.P. Radchikova) and for the early diagnosis of cognitive development (N.B. Shumakova, E.I. Shcheblanova, Yu.P. Kosheleva, M.G. Sorokova); for predicting and analyzing social behavior in adolescence (R.I. Sunnatova, O.B. Krushelnitskaya, D.N. Lanshchikov) and for identifying prosocial personality traits in male adolescents and young men (N.V. Meshkova, D.V. Yakimova and I.A. Meshkov); for the in-depth analysis of individual semantic systems (K.V. Zlokazov, S.N. Enikolopov, M.R. Babikova).
The issue also presents updated normative data for assessing mediated memory, thinking, and activity regulation in older preschoolers and primary schoolchildren (E.I. Izotova, G.V. Molchanova, T.P. Avdulova, G.R. Khuzeeva). Furthermore, it examines the features of using the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children with children who have intellectual disabilities (O.S. Alekseeva, I.E. Rzhanova, V.E. Guskova, Yu.A. Burdukova).
This thematic issue will be useful for specialists seeking to use modern, scientifically grounded, and properly adapted diagnostic tools in their work.
