On November 10, 2025, a Festival of National Cultures, dedicated to National Unity Day, was held at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE). The event featured participants from regions of the Russian Federation and friendly countries.

The event consisted of three parts: a lecture by Elena Andreevna Alexandrova, Associate Professor of the Department of Ethnopsychology and Psychological Problems of Multicultural Education at the Faculty of Social Psychology, titled "Narrating Culture: Ethnicity in Focus"; a "Regional Fair"; and a concert and creative program.

The fair provided students with an opportunity to learn about the cultural diversity of students of various nationalities. Participants from Karelia, Yakutia, Kalmykia, Altai Krai, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as well as from Afghanistan, South Sudan, and Ethiopia, were able to showcase their history, customs, national costumes, and cuisine.

The concert program featured the ensemble "Rassvet" with songs of Slavic peoples and Evgenia Borisovna Rodina, Head of the Information Support Department of the MSUPE Fundamental Library, who presented a display of literature from the peoples of the world and performed the spiritual verse "Pod zelenoy, pod kudryavoy" ("Under the Green, Under the Curly One"). The performances were interspersed with folk games from various cultures.

Festival guests took part in Russian folk games, sampled cuisine from different countries, and were able to see national dances of the peoples of Africa.

The Festival of National Cultures introduced students to each other, fostered a sense of community, and helped them learn about the traditions, customs, and arts of different peoples. This is an important event for preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of various countries.
