On November 10, the Festival of National Cultures was held at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE). MSUPE students presented the national cultures of various peoples of Russia and foreign countries – the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Altai, Kalmykia, Karelia, South Sudan, Afghanistan, and Ethiopia. The festival was organized by the Department of Educational and Social Work of MSUPE.

MSUPE students, as guests of the Festival, heartily enjoyed playing traditional outdoor games that were previously completely unfamiliar to them. For the festival, the university librarians prepared a book exhibition titled "Traditions of the Peoples of Russia. Books from the MSUPE Library Collection."

One of the items was an antique book, published during the author's lifetime in 1887 – "Children's Games. Predominantly Russian. In Connection with History, Ethnography, Pedagogy, and Hygiene" by E.A. Pokrovsky (a pediatrician, Doctor of Medicine, and psychologist who lived in the 19th century). This book is about the benefits of folk games for personal development.

Furthermore, MSUPE librarian Evgenia Rodina, who is also a member of the folk-ethnographic ensemble "KorAb," performed a Russian traditional spiritual verse about the benefits of reading and spoke about the project "Odnodvortsy: 7 Russian Stories" (implemented with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Society of Future Researchers").
