MSUPE Hosts Discussion on Adapting and Socializing Minor Foreign Citizens in Education

On December 4th, 2024, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation held the second nationwide meeting "Adaptation and Socialization of Minor Foreign Citizens in the Educational Environment" at MSUPE. The event was for officials from regional education bodies, local government representatives, heads of educational organizations with foreign minors, and institutions working on juvenile delinquency prevention.

The main focus was on implementing mandatory social, linguistic, and cultural adaptation measures for foreign minors at federal and regional levels, and organizing prevention efforts for juvenile delinquency with support from relevant institutions.

Tatyana Sizova, Head of MSUPE's Federal Center for Children’s Rights, shared insights into developing educational resources for foreign students and supporting specialists working with this group.

Over 1,000 participants from 89 regions attended the event, with 120 present in person.
