Special Issue of the Journal "Bulletin of Practical Psychology of Education" for the Regional Series: Call for Papers

The editorial board of the journal Bulletin of Practical Psychology of Education (Vestnik Prakticheskoy Psikhologii Obrazovaniya) invites submissions for an upcoming special issue dedicated to contemporary theoretical and applied issues in psychological-pedagogical support for learners.

This issue aims to showcase diverse practical experiences from educational psychologists across Russia's regions. It will be guest-edited by Natalia Nikolaevna Vasyagina, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor and Head of the Department of Educational Psychology at Ural State Pedagogical University, who also serves as the Chief External Educational Psychologist for the Sverdlovsk Region.

We invite researchers, practitioners, and specialists in psychology, pedagogy, and related disciplines to submit the results of their scientific research, practical developments, and analytical reviews on topics such as:

  • The psychology of the learner as a subject of the educational environment at different educational stages, their personal and cognitive development. Specifics and programs for providing targeted psychological assistance to learners experiencing learning difficulties and/or needing special attention due to a high risk of vulnerability. Effective practices of psychological-pedagogical support for learners, risk prevention, and the preservation and strengthening of their mental health.
  • New realities in the psychological-pedagogical support of the educational process. Psychological support for the implementation of various types and forms of education. Psychological tools for supporting the upbringing process. Traditional Russian values as the foundation of education, psychological-pedagogical technologies for their formation. The role of the family and school in addressing current tasks of student upbringing.
  • Psychological tools for ensuring comfort and safety in the educational environment, including the information-educational and family environments. Methods and techniques for fostering conflict-free interaction, cohesion in children's groups, and a favorable psychological climate in a team. Family determinants of student adaptation and integration in the modern educational environment.
  • Current problems in parent-child relationships and family upbringing. Psychological-pedagogical education and psychological assistance to parents in addressing issues of child development, learning, upbringing, and parent-child relationships. Supporting families of participants in the Special Military Operation (SVO) within the education system.
  • Psychological problems of teaching activity and the role of psychologists in addressing them. Scientific-practical developments aimed at enhancing the psychological competence of teaching staff, preventing professional deformations and emotional burnout, and ensuring the psychological health of educators.

We welcome articles that reflect both theoretical research and practical application experiences.

Submission deadline: February 15, 2026.

Publication Languages: Russian and English.

Length: No more than 30,000 characters (including spaces) for the Russian text with a list of references.

For consideration, materials must be submitted via the Electronic Editorial Service of MSUPE Publications.
