The Journal "Psychological Science and Education" Invites Contributions to a Thematic Issue on Evidence-Based Aspects of Inclusion

The editorial board of the peer-reviewed scientific journal "Psychological Science and Education" invites authors to participate in the preparation of a thematic issue titled "Inclusion in Education at All Stages: Practices and Approaches with Proven Effectiveness."

This issue is dedicated to theoretical and empirical research on inclusive education and the description of educational solutions whose effectiveness is supported by the results of scientific research. We welcome articles that analyze inclusion at the level of educational policy, organization of the educational environment, and psychological-pedagogical support in preschool, general, vocational, higher, and supplementary education. Of particular interest are works based on longitudinal, experimental, and quasi-experimental data that use validated assessment methods, allowing conclusions about the effectiveness of inclusive programs, models, and technologies, the dynamics of educational and psychological indicators, as well as the conditions ensuring sustainable effects of inclusive education.

The goal of the thematic issue is to present a body of evidence-based approaches and practices of inclusive education, enabling the assessment of the conditions, mechanisms, and outcomes of inclusion and the formation of scientifically grounded recommendations for educational policy and management decisions.

The guest editors of the issue are Vitaly Vladimirovich Rubtsov, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, and Svetlana Vladimirovna Alekhina, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Director of the Federal Center for the Development of Inclusive General and Supplementary Education.

Issue release date: October 30, 2026 (Issue 5-2026).

Submission deadline: August 1, 2026.

Publication languages: Russian or English.

Length: Up to 35,000 characters including spaces, encompassing the reference list (for Russian-language manuscripts) or References (for English-language materials from international authors).

Text formatting: In accordance with the style guide of the peer-reviewed scientific journal "Psychological Science and Education" (template available via the link).
