The Russian Ministry of Education Has Approved Minimum USE Scores for Subordinate Universities for the 2026/27 Academic Year

The Russian Ministry of Education has approved the minimum Unified State Exam (USE) scores in general education subjects required for admission to educational institutions under its jurisdiction for the 2026/27 academic year. The corresponding order has been registered by the Ministry of Justice and published on the Official Internet Portal of Legal Information.

The decision was made by the Russian Ministry of Education following expert discussions.

The minimum USE scores for subordinate universities for the 2026/27 academic year have been set for the following general education subjects:

• Informatics – 45 points
• Russian Language and Social Studies – 42 points each
• Mathematics, Physics, Literature, and Geography – 40 points each
• Biology and Chemistry – 39 points each
• History – 38 points
• Foreign Language – 35 points

It is noted that this order is developed annually for the next academic year.
