Dear colleagues, scientists, and educators!

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on Russian Science Day!

Today, science is the primary driving force of progress. We are proud that Russian researchers confidently set the tone in solving global challenges and achieve breakthroughs that open new horizons for all of humanity.

I want to thank scientists, the devotees of science. Your dedicated work and fundamental discoveries serve the development of industry, agriculture, medicine, and the social sphere, providing a reliable foundation for the development and strengthening of our country's sovereignty.

A special role in shaping the science of tomorrow belongs to the sphere of education. The path to great science begins at school. We give paramount attention to fostering young people's interest in research. Our school students show brilliant results at all-Russian and international Olympiads. Many of them are already choosing science as their profession today, becoming worthy successors to contemporary researchers.

I would like to separately acknowledge the country's pedagogical universities, which are powerful scientific centers. Within their walls, leaning on the richest national traditions, modern educational methodologies are born and implemented, and serious interdisciplinary research is conducted.

Dear friends! May your ideas find their realization, and may your hard work be rewarded with new brilliant discoveries for the benefit of Russia!

Sergey Kravtsov,

Minister of Education of the Russian Federation
