Introduction to Intercultural Communication: New Textbook Published for Educators and Psychologists

Intercultural communication in professional interaction is studied in all areas of training at MSUPE. Many scientific and methodological publications by faculty members of the Department of Ethnopsychology and Psychological Problems of Multicultural Education of the Faculty of Social Psychology are dedicated to this topical issue.

Now, a new textbook, "Introduction to Intercultural Communication in the Professional Activity of Educators and Psychologists," is available to our students and all interested specialists. The author of the textbook is Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Anna Sergeevna Krivtsova. Anna Sergeevna is a practicing psychologist, Head of the Psychological and Speech Therapy Service at the "President" School, a specialist in multicultural education, and author of the textbook "Ethnopedagogy."

The textbook is dedicated to topical issues of intercultural interaction in the educational environment and reveals not only the main psychological aspects of intercultural communication but also the specifics of the professional activity of educators and psychologists in a multicultural educational environment. The textbook is accompanied by practical examples; the materials can be useful for bachelor's and master's students in the fields of "Psychology" and "Psychological-Pedagogical Education," as well as for specialists in intercultural communication.
