Altai State Pedagogical University Takes Part in MSUPE On-Site Monitoring under the Federal Project

Inna Golovina, Head of the Department for Interaction with Pedagogical Universities at MSUPE, served as an expert for the on-site monitoring at Altai State Pedagogical University (AltSPU) under the federal project "Teachers and Mentors" of the national project "Youth and Children".

This year, work is underway at the AltSPU building in Barnaul to modernize fine arts classrooms and a zone for collaboration and interdisciplinary experiments.

A unique educational platform in astrophysics with its own observatory and a stationary planetarium will also be established here. The new space will expand the existing research base for students and will complement the already functioning "Space Research" laboratory at the university.

At the Biysk branch of AltSPU, a modern chemistry classroom is being created under the federal project. Construction, installation, and finishing works are already being completed in the classroom, and teachers are undergoing training to work with the new equipment.

The new infrastructure is planned to be actively used not only in the educational process for students but also in organizing public events, such as a series of lectures on "Popular Astronomy," "Observation of Artificial Earth Satellites in Altai Krai," "Sidewalk Astronomy," specialized educational sessions of the "Astronomy School," and many others.

Among the partners with whom joint projects are already being discussed for the updated venues are: the Barnaul City Education Committee, the Ministry of Education and Science of Altai Krai, the Ministry of Culture of Altai Krai, the A.M. Toporov Altai Institute for Education Workers, the Oleg Rostislavovich Lvov Altai Institute of Digital Technologies and Education Quality Assessment, the Educational and Methodological Association of Physics Teachers, the Educational and Methodological Association of Fine Arts Teachers, JSC "Soyuzmultfilm" Film Studio, "Master-Film" Film Company, the V.S. Zolotukhin Altai Youth Theater, the "Skazka" Altai State Puppet Theater, the "IT-Cube" Center, the Youth Puppet Theater, and many others.

In 2025, as part of the implementation of the federal project, comprehensive educational and upbringing clusters were created in all pedagogical universities under the Russian Ministry of Education, which included classrooms for the subjects "Fundamentals of Security and Defense of the Motherland" and "Labor (Technology)", as well as military-patriotic centers.
