On the Psychology of Human Life Environments in the New Issue of "Experimental Psychology (Russia)"
The new issue of the journal "Experimental Psychology (Russia)" (No. 2, 2026) has been published. It opens with the section "Editorial" congratulating editorial board member A.V. Karpov on his 70th birthday.
This is followed by the thematic section "Psychology of Human Living Environments", which is represented in the issue by four articles. The aim of the work by S.I. Reznicenko, I.K. Kiyanenko, S.K. Nartova-Bochaver, M.Sh. Valiullova was to adapt and validate the Russian-language version of the biophilic attitudes questionnaire using a sample of Russian urban residents. V.I. Panov's article examines the latent factors of perceptions of intragroup interactions in the context of ecopsychological types of subject-environment interactions. The article by E.S. Egolayeva and V.N. Nosulenko demonstrates the feasibility of using the perceived quality paradigm to identify the components of individual religious experience and its sociocultural specificity. The aim of the work by M.R. Khachaturova and A.G. Safonova is to study the parameters of the university's salutogenic environment as part of a study to inform a psychological questionnaire for future research.
The next section, "Psychology of Perception" has been expanded with three new articles. A.V. Zhegallo and I.A. Basyul's article examines the typology of facial expressions in study participants during a collaborative solution to a discriminatory AVX task mediated by video communication. A.Yu. Razvalyaeva's article tests the success of a computerized task with different types of auditory interfaces. N.L. Nagibina's work examines cognitive attitude variations as preferred cognitive strategies in problem solving.
The "Psychology of Personality" section of this issue features one new article. The work by R.M. Shamionov and V.K. Abutalipova examines the role of values in the relationship between everyday stress and discriminatory attitudes.
This is followed by the "Educational Psychology" section, which this time has been expanded with four new materials. The article by V.N. Shlyapnikov and M.A. Shestova examines self-regulation strategies in students studying using distance learning technologies. A.V. Barmin examines the structural changes occurring in human semantic memory during foreign language learning. The work by K.V. Signaevskaya and E.S. Gorbunova aims to identify the role of working memory capacity in the effective application of cognitive theory principles in multimedia learning. The article by N.N. Dadyko and V.V. Selivanov examines intellectual events and project activities in the development of critical thinking.
Our traditional "Psychodiagnostics" section concludes the issue with three new materials. The work of G.U. Soldatova, S.N. Ilyukhina, A.S. Klishevich is aimed at developing and testing a questionnaire for assessing the experience of mixed reality (MRIE). The goal of the work of N.N. Emelyanchuk and D.A. Leontiev is to study the structural validity of the "Multidimensional Method of Existential Meaning" by V. Kostin and V. Vignoles. The work of G.V. Oreshina, O.E. Gundelakh, E.S. Tsigeman, L.V. Mararitsa is aimed at testing the Russian-language version of the Networked Minds Social Presence Inventory (NMSPI) questionnaire and assessing its psychometric properties.
