Children with ADHD: A Series of Webinars, Online Lectures, Master Classes, and Consultations for Schools Abroad
From August 17 to September 18, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) is conducting a series of educational, informational, and consultative events to disseminate the practice "Conditions for Meeting the Special Educational Needs of Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder".
The events are delivered as webinars, online lectures, master classes, and group and individual consultations, each lasting 1–1.5 hours, and are hosted by MSUPE. These events are conducted as part of a state assignment to develop international cooperation in general education, focusing on psychological and pedagogical support for participants in educational relations, and considering multicultural specificities and the goals of strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values.
The practice "Conditions for Meeting the Special Educational Needs of Children with ADHD" aims to enhance the technological and methodological competence of teachers and school psychological service specialists engaged in pedagogical activities abroad. This includes creating conditions for preserving the psychological health of all participants in the educational process; reducing the number of underachieving primary school students in educational settings; improving the quality of education for children with ADHD in educational settings; reducing negative manifestations of ADHD in primary school children, improving attention skills, developing self-control, and reducing psycho-emotional tension; and increasing the health‑promoting potential of educational organisations and families of children with ADHD.
Head of the programme: Elena Nikolaevna Kalitko, Deputy Director, Head of the Centre for Psychological, Pedagogical, Medical, and Social Assistance, Kaluga State Institute of Education Development (GAOU DPO "KGIRO").
Target audience: The practice is intended for educational psychologists, primary school teachers, special education teachers, educators, and teachers delivering instruction in Russian in schools with Russian language learning abroad (in accordance with submitted applications).
