PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The program is focused on acquiring competencies, knowledge and skills in psychological counseling, diagnostic and correctional work in organizations of various types (including educational institutions, psychological support services, social protection institutions, rehabilitation centers, healthcare facilities, consulting organizations, etc.) The program pays special attention to modern methods of psychodiagnostic, pedagogical and research activities. The educational program involves fundamental theoretical training in the basics of psychological counseling and psychotherapy, as the first step in the training of a counseling psychologist. Program includes a large number of courses created by leading experts in the field of psychological counseling and psychotherapy.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Graduates of the program have basic knowledge in psychology and specialized knowledge in counseling psychology and psychotherapy. They are able to use various methodological tools in their diagnostic, pedagogical, training and counseling activities.

After graduation you can work as a psychologist in the social sphere, a teacher-psychologist, a specialist in working with families, etc. Among the places of work: centers of mental health services, educational (kindergartens, schools, education centers) and medical (centers of medical and social assistance and rehabilitation) organizations, social protection institutions (boarding schools, social service centers, social adaptation centers, social shelters for children and adolescents), in the field of personnel management, consulting in the field of organization management, etc.
