PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The program makes it possible to satisfy the society’s demand for a new type of professional who is able to effectively solve practical and educational problems in the field of psychological assistance to children and families. The program is aimed at training qualified specialists with general cultural and professional competencies that allow them to effectively provide counseling and psychotherapeutic assistance to children at different stages of age and personal development, parents and families in difficult life situations. Program prepares for activities that require in-depth, fundamental professional training in the field of child and family psychotherapy and counseling, forms the modern ideas about child development and problems of a family, trains for research, educational and educational work.

A graduate of the program is able to provide psychological assistance to an individual, family, organization to resolve difficult life situations that have arisen as result of emergencies, crises, illness, developmental disorders, professional problems, interpersonal or social conflicts, losses, etc.
