The fifth issue of the scientific-methodological publication "Class Magazine" features articles by staff members from the Emergency Response and Crisis Counseling Sector of the Federal Coordination Center for the Development of Psychological Services in the Russian Education System (FKC MSUPE) — Ya.A. Onkamo, O.Yu. Ledeneva, and A.S. Lagunova.
The magazine was created as a "forum for class teachers" — with the aim of informing and educating educators in educational institutions, as well as fostering unity and harmony within the teaching community. Each issue publishes scientific and methodological materials on various thematic areas, covering a wide range of issues related to teaching and school education, discussions on problems in school education, and the current state and future prospects of education.
In her article "Procrastination, Frustration, and Laziness," Alexandra Lagunova explains the differences between these concepts and how teachers can help themselves. As the author notes, maintaining a balance between work and personal life, rest and relaxation is crucial.
In her article "Learning to Say 'No!' and Setting Personal Boundaries with Colleagues, Supervisors, and Parents," Yana Onkamo provides practical advice for teachers. After all, the ability to say "no" not only helps preserve psychological comfort but also creates a more productive atmosphere in the team.
Oksana Ledeneva, in her article "How to Adapt to a New City, a New School, and a New Team," informs teachers about the challenges of adaptation that may arise when moving to a new city and workplace. She explains what can help overcome these difficulties during the adaptation process and what steps to take.
The magazine also offers many other interesting articles where readers can find content that is engaging, important, and informative. For example, if you love movies, the "Film Club" section features a selection of the best films about friendship, first love, and youthful dreams: "You Never Even Dreamed," "Everyone Dreams of a Dog," and "Inside Out." These films are an emotional whirlwind — and where there are emotions, there's room for psychology!
In the July issue of "Class Magazine," you can find something useful not only for yourself but also for your colleagues. The team of authors put their hearts into making this summer special and inspiring for schoolteachers.
Happy reading and have a wonderful summer with "Class Magazine"!
