The All-Russian Meeting for heads of Centers for Psychological-Pedagogical, Medical, and Social Assistance (PPMSC) and chief freelance educational psychologists of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation has started in Moscow. Over two days, experts will discuss effective methods for improving the quality of support for children in educational institutions. The event is organized by the Russian Ministry of Education.

A welcoming address to the participants was sent by the head of the ministry, Sergey Kravtsov.

"A regional or municipal center in a constituent entity of the Russian Federation is an organizational and methodological mainstay, a key element of the psychological-pedagogical assistance model in the education system, a connecting link in organizing psychological activities during interagency interaction, and a resource for educational organizations," noted the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation.

The meeting is taking place at Moscow Pedagogical State University, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, and the Moscow Department of Education and Science.

During plenary sessions, discussions, and breakout sessions, participants will focus on:

• Organizing the work of Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Commissions (PMPC)
• Creating an inclusive environment
• Organizing correctional and developmental work by educational psychologists
• Forms of interaction between commissions on minors' affairs and PPMSC centers.

They will also pay attention to personnel training for work in PPMSC centers and PMPCs.

Experts at the meeting include representatives of the Russian Ministry of Education and leading specialists from relevant organizations. The event is aimed at improving the system of providing psychological-pedagogical assistance in educational institutions and developing the professional potential of specialists.
