The "Psychological Compass" club for future applicants, organized by the Department of Developmental Psychology named after Professor L.F. Obukhova at the Faculty of Educational Psychology, MSUPE, continues its work. It invites students in grades 9-11 and prospective applicants to the next in-person meeting, which will take place on March 21 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the university: Sretenka St., 29, room 410.
Participating in the "Psychological Compass" club will help you get to know experienced psychologists from various fields and get answers to important questions firsthand. The club helps participants make an informed choice when selecting a psychological specialty (psychologist, educational psychologist, developmental psychologist). In the "Psychological Compass" club, you will learn about the general characteristics of the "Psychologist" profession, discover the qualities and competencies required, and understand how psychological assistance is organized.
Upon completion of the entire cycle of meetings, you will receive a participant certificate. Participation is free.
Topic of the meeting on March 21, 2026: "The Psychology of Communication: How We Hear Words and Read Between the Lines."
The speakers will discuss the specifics of age-related psychological counseling. They will explore how we perceive verbal information and understand the unspoken subtext in communication.
