UNESCO Chair "Cultural-Historical Psychology of Childhood": Master's Open Day – April 17
On April 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM, we invite you to an online presentation of the Master's program "Cultural-Historical Psychology and Activity-Based Approach in Education." Field of study: 44.04.02 Psychological-Pedagogical Education. The program is presented by the UNESCO Chair "Cultural-Historical Psychology of Childhood."
The program is aimed at training unique, highly qualified specialists capable of providing quality psychological and psychological-pedagogical support to organizations operating in education and the social sphere. This involves students mastering competencies in scientific analysis and activity-based design of various areas of social practice, conducting psychodiagnostic and psychocorrectional work, psychological-pedagogical expertise, counseling, and more.
The main distinguishing feature of the program is its in-depth methodological and instructional training of students in the field of cultural-historical psychology and activity theory as a basis for building effective developmental and educational practices. Graduates of the department are able to analyze contemporary research that develops the cultural-historical tradition in pedagogy and psychology, possess methods of specific psychological-pedagogical research, and are well-versed in current scientific-practical problems of educational and social practice.
The program has been awarded a 5-star rating and the "EXCELLENT QUALITY" distinction, as well as international accreditation certificates from two countries for six years.
The program features leading specialists in the field of cultural-historical psychology from Russia, Brazil, South Africa, India, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and other countries.
