TASS: MSUPE will train specialists for the psychological assistance line for school students in the regions. MSUPE Rector Arkady Margolis noted that the university has more than 20 years of experience in distance counselling. The "School of Trust" line was launched by the Russian Ministry of Education on September 11; the number is 8-800-707-02-01, and calls are round-the-clock and free.

RIA Novosti: "The line involves specialists with high professional competencies. Regular training events and supervisory support are provided for each counsellor, ensuring a unified standard of counselling quality," said MSUPE Rector Arkady Margolis.

Central Trade Union Newspaper "Solidarity": A company is bought, schools are merged, the company has a new owner – a new manager comes to an established team. We examine the "insider" – "outsider" relationship together with Olga Krushelnitskaya, Head of the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Social Psychology, Faculty of Social Psychology, MSUPE.

A teacher explains mathematics only to top students. What about the rest? "Mel" was answered by Anna Semiletova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Pedagogical Psychology named after Professor V.A. Guruzhapov, Faculty of Educational Psychology, MSUPE: "This should not be the case. A teacher works with the whole class, not just with children who do well in the subject. If a student is struggling, they have the right to ask a question, get an explanation, and work through their mistakes. The teacher must help them understand where exactly the problem arose and how to cope with it."

RBC ChEZ: What do people contact the psychological support line about? "As a rule, it is a state related to anxiety, stress, and fear of exams. For example, seasonal ones, such as the Unified State Exam, certainly receive more inquiries in May–June. Conflicts with classmates are in second place, as well as conflicts with teachers. The main target audience of such lines is, of course, adolescents, and they are most interested in peers and conflicts with them," reported Anna Ermolaeva, Deputy Head of the Federal Coordination Center for Ensuring the Development of Psychological and Pedagogical Assistance in the Education System of the Russian Federation at MSUPE.

There are far more cases of "physical" bullying combined with cyberbullying, psychologist and MSUPE lecturer Rostislav Prokopishin told Izvestia. He recalled the case of a 14-year-old school student in Kalmykia who was systematically bullied by a group of older students. "Until recently, enormous resources were required to investigate crimes involving the internet; now this is becoming routine investigative practice," he added.

Sweat instead of perfume: what pheromone-maxxing is and how men strive to become more attractive to women was explained to RT by Nikita Kochetkov, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Psychology, MSUPE, Candidate of Psychological Sciences. A person has two main ways to increase their attractiveness: develop personal qualities or work on their appearance. According to the expert, the first path requires time, education, and constant self-improvement. "The second path is simpler and often requires only financial costs. And sometimes, as in the case of this trend, even that is not needed — you just need to stop washing. This is one of the simplest, from the layperson's point of view, ways to attract attention", said the psychologist.

The academic year has begun and... yes, the parents' competition too. Whose child is better, smarter, who is the best of the best? It is no secret that we, alas, very often satisfy our own ambitions, perhaps unrealized ones, at the expense of our children. But let's stop and consult a specialist: should we demand straight A's from students? Should we make them rewrite their homework three times to achieve perfection, or does this break children more than failing grades? This was discussed with a Vechernyaya Moskva correspondent (pages 14–15) by Dmitry Deulin, Dean of the Faculty of Extreme Psychology, MSUPE.
