PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The program equips you with the necessary educational in the field of protection of children’s rights, organization of guardianship and guardianship of children left without parental care (international and national law), psychological and pedagogical assistance to families and children of socially vulnerable categories, as well as values, attitudes and skills necessary for practice as a specialist in the protection of the rights of children and their families. This is done, first of all, with the help of educational blocks devoted to theories and research in the field of protection of rights, strengthening their health and well-being, development and education of children and youth in need of State assistance, as well as appropriate prevention, assessment and intervention strategies. Secondly, throughout the program, you will have 9 hours of field-supervised classes per week to develop professional values, ethics, attitudes and skills to meet the various needs of children and youth in need of State protection through individual, group, systemic and community strategies. Thirdly, you are also provided with research training, including the submission of a dissertation.LEARNING OUTCOMES

CAREER AND FURTHER STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
You can work as a qualified specialist in guardianship and guardianship authorities, as a teacher-psychologist in organizations for orphans, social rehabilitation centers for minors, schools and other educational institutions, mental health, and public institutions after obtaining a master’s degree in psychology in the field of age psychology, and then two years of practice under supervision. Graduates often work with children in need of state protection and their families, children, and young people with cumulative psychological traumas, including socio-emotional, behavioral and academic problems resulting from individual as well as contextual factors. The Master’s degree also provides access to doctoral programs in psychology both locally and abroad.CURRICULUM
