PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The criteria of the welfare state determine the trajectory of the formation of civil society, forming skills in the field of managing the system of social services in the learning process, which makes it possible to manage the agenda both at the municipal and global levels. Within the framework of the direction, highly qualified specialists in the social sphere are trained, who are ready to provide methodological support for the system of social protection of the population, being key specialists in the implementation of programs aimed at a qualitative change associated with the well-being of the population. Graduates implement managerial activities in the social system, contributing to the implementation of project activities.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the program you will have the skills in:- planning and organizing the activities of employees and departments of organizations implementing activities for the social protection of citizens;
- control and implementation of measures to improve the efficiency of employees of departments of organizations implementing activities for the social protection of citizens;
- social forecasting, design and modeling of processes aimed at ensuring social well-being and social protection of citizens;
- teaching courses, disciplines (modules) or conducting certain types of training sessions for bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s programs and additional professional programs in the field of social work.
CAREER AND FURTHER STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates realize themselves in the field of implementation of state social policy, in the commercial and non-profit sectors, work in state and municipal governments, departments and centers for social protection and support of the population, non-profit organizations and charitable foundations, trade unions, educational and research organizations, development departments personnel and social development in enterprises. Students who have received knowledge as part of their studies at the faculty are highly qualified specialists who are able to implement the acquired knowledge and skills both in the field of methodological support of social ideas, political structures, commercial and non-commercial projects.
