Center for Information Technology for Psychological Research
Goals of the work- Implementation of mathematical methods in scientific research in the field of psychology and pedagogy.
- Development of technologies for designing applied information systems for solving problems in the field of psychology and related disciplines.
- Development of software necessary for educational institutions and organizations with a psychological and pedagogical profile, as well as for supporting scientific research in the field of psychology and pedagogy.
- Carrying out scientific developments and consultations in the field of computer modeling and data analysis in psychology and related disciplines at the request of specialized organizations, including the development of psychological simulators, methods of psychological and medical diagnostics, methods of modeling the phenomena and processes under study (based on differential equations, statistical and simulation models, neural networks, cellular automata, etc.), methods of identifying models and methods of data analysis, as well as new science-intensive technologies for teaching students with disabilities using modern mathematical methods.
- Carrying out work in the field of standardization and adaptation of psychological tests.
- Carrying out development of software necessary for educational institutions and organizations of the psychological and pedagogical profile, as well as to support scientific research in the field of psychology and pedagogy.
The Center for Information Technologies for Psychological Research is a structural subdivision of the Faculty of Information Technologies of MGPPU. The Center includes two laboratories:
- Laboratory of Mathematical Psychology and Applied Software,
- Laboratory of Quantitative Psychology.
- Development of methods, models and software for confirmatory factor analysis of the results of different transforms of longitudinal data.
- Development of Markov models, methods for their identification and software for analyzing experimental data.
- Standardization and adaptation of psychological tests.
- Development of software for frequency and wavelet analysis of the stabilographic signal and its implementation as a component of the diagnostic hardware and software complex.
- Development of psychological simulators and their implementation in the educational process.
- Development of a project and key components of a hardware and software complex that ensures the perception of flat-printed texts by blind students.
- Development of mathematical methods and software for analyzing the results of psychophysiological studies.
- Conducting research and creating mathematical models to assess the quality/effectiveness of operator activity and identifying markers that signal a possible deterioration in the operator's condition.
- Development of new mathematical testing models.
- Research into the relationship between handwriting and psychological characteristics and development of software tools for their indirect assessment through known handwriting characteristics.
- Development of software and hardware-software systems that help improve the integration of individuals with disabilities into the educational and social environment.
