We invite you on December 25 at 12:00 to the public lecture “Information overload: how social networks affect our brain.”

Modern people live in an ever-growing information background (according to researchers, the volume of digital information doubles every two years) and social networks play an important role in this. The constant thoughtless use of social media and various electronic devices can have a significant negative impact on brain health, mental functioning and behavior, as well as contribute to information overload. However, the conscious use of digital platforms and the introduction of healthy habits can help mitigate or offset negative effects and maintain a healthy balance in life.

The event will be interesting for a wide range of listeners interested in maintaining brain health and improving cognitive functioning.

Speaker :
  • Tretyakova Vera Dmitrievna, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Researcher at the Center for Neurocognitive Research, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Digital Education (MGPPU)
