On March 20, at 18:00, the next meeting of the seminar "Psychological development of children and adolescents" will be held on the topic: "Age-related features of schoolchildren's ideas about time."
Speaker: Solodkova Anna Vadimovna, teacher-psychologist of GBOU School No. 1286, postgraduate student of the Department of "Age Psychology named after Professor L.F. Obukhova" of the Faculty of "Psychology of Education" of MGPPU.
Ideas about time play an important role in a child's development. They include knowledge about time and an understanding of its various aspects, which is based on the child's personal experience. From his past, the child draws the necessary information to solve current problems and predict the possible results of his actions; past experience can also influence the choice of his actions in the present and planning his future.
Goal setting and motivation depend on ideas about the future, which require an understanding of time to form. In the context of learning activities, concepts of time underlie metacognitive processes that are interrelated with the development of universal learning activities and independent activity of the child. At the same time, a socially conditioned way of thinking about time is embedded in the understanding of the clock and calendar system.
The seminar will consider the age-related features of the formation of ideas about the time of schoolchildren in grades 1-6, which will help to better understand the developmental features of children of this age.
The seminar session will be held in the format of a webinar. To participate in the work, we invite you to register.
