During the same period, applicants submitted 45 thousand applications and 1.3 thousand applications for targeted training in secondary vocational education programs.
Pedagogical fields of study have already taken first place in popularity in pedagogical universities, surpassing information technology, medicine and other in-demand specialties. According to preliminary data, a record number of applications have been submitted for the field of study group 44.00.00 "Education and Pedagogical Sciences". The figures will be clarified, and we will publish final statistics at the end of the admissions campaign.

The top 5 leaders in the number of applications among pedagogical universities currently include: A.I. Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University, Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Ural State Pedagogical University, and V.P. Astafiev Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University.
In just the first week of admissions, applicants submitted applications to MSUPE for more than 2,100 competitive groups for bachelor's, specialist, and master's programs. Let us remind you that an applicant can submit two applications to a university: for state-funded places and for fee-paying places, choose up to 5 fields and/or specialties for bachelor's and specialist programs to participate in the competition, and an unlimited number of master's programs.

To date, the most popular fields of study among applicants for bachelor's programs are psychology and psychological-pedagogical education, for specialist programs - clinical psychology, occupational psychology, as well as pedagogy and psychology of deviant behavior.
Among master's programs, the leaders in terms of applications submitted include: counseling psychology, cognitive psychology, as well as child and family psychotherapy. Enrollment is actively underway for MSUPE's new master's program "Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurotechnologies".
