On June 30, an agreement on cooperation was signed between MSUPE and MSPU. According to MSUPE Rector Arkady Margolis, the agreement represents a significant milestone in the development of scientific and educational cooperation between the two universities.
"The scope of interaction extends beyond purely psychological fields and encompasses a wide range of interdisciplinary research.
This agreement is not a framework document — it is a thoroughly developed agreement, the preparation of which involved an intensive negotiation process with the participation of faculty representatives from both institutions.
We are confident that this established partnership will make a substantial contribution to the modernization of Russia’s pedagogical education system and will facilitate the achievement of qualitatively new results in the training of teaching professionals," said the Rector of MSUPE.
Under the agreement, a number of promising scientific and educational projects are planned, including:
- participation in the development of the content and structure of the "Core of Psychological and Pedagogical Education"
- joint development of educational programs, including those involving network collaboration at the request of the Russian Ministry of Education and/or the labor market
- conducting joint scientific research aimed at studying the quality and accessibility of psychological and pedagogical support in the Russian education system
- implementation of a joint project to improve the quality of science education for students in basic general education programs by identifying knowledge and worldview gaps that hinder the formation of scientific concepts
- implementation of a joint project in the field of cinema pedagogy based at the MSUPE Military-Patriotic Center and the MSPU Center for Cinema Pedagogy and Media Culture.
