On November 26, a delegation of specialists from Turkmenistan arrived on a working visit to the Federal Resource Center for the Comprehensive Support of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) at MSUPE (FRC MSUPE). The delegation included representatives from the healthcare, education, and social protection systems of the Republic, as well as specialists working with children with developmental differences.
During the visit, the guests were introduced to the activities of the FRC. They were given a tour of the school-preschool department, which demonstrated the educational environment, methods, and forms of work with students with ASD, and presented specialized interactive equipment used at the Center.
During the meeting, the Director of the FRC MSUPE, Artur Valeryevich Khaustov, spoke about the Center's key areas of work: diagnostics and education of children with autism spectrum disorders, family counseling, professional development programs for specialists, and more.
The parties discussed potential areas for cooperation, including internships for Turkmen specialists and the exchange of experience regarding the development of support systems for children with developmental differences in Turkmenistan.
