A new issue of the network journal "Bulletin of Practical Psychology of Education" (No. 4-2025) has been released, dedicated to the issue of psychological and pedagogical support for educational organizations in the Sverdlovsk Region. This continues the journal's regional series of issues devoted to theoretical and practical questions of modern education.
The issue opens with the section "Scientific and Methodological Support for the Professional Activities of Educational Psychologists," presenting readers with articles on the following topics: causes of non-suicidal self-injurious behavior in adolescents (results of content analysis of social media publications); peculiarities of child perception and upbringing by parents and grandparents; the correlation between mothers' attachment types and the personal characteristics of preschoolers; value orientations and coping strategies for stress among older adolescents; developing self-regulation in students displaying maladaptive behavior; preventing deviant behavior in younger schoolchildren by fostering their positive attitudes towards parents.
The issue continues with the section "The Axiological and Person-Oriented Basis for Cooperation and Interaction Among Subjects of the Educational Environment." It contains materials on the results of a study of the "subjective well-being" phenomenon in the context of individual psychological health; concepts and specifics of a restorative culture of relationships in school; means of correcting computer addiction by optimizing interaction in the "parent–teenager" dyad; perceptions of parental relationships and body image among adolescent girls.
In the third section, "Scientific Basis for Practices of Psychological and Pedagogical Work with Childhood Implemented in the Education System," articles are published analyzing anamnestic data on manifestations of psycho-speech disorders in preschoolers; describing the experience of implementing a career guidance and awareness program aimed at forming knowledge among younger schoolchildren about the diversity of professions; characterizing age-related features of analytical observation in children aged 6–7 with normal speech development and with general speech underdevelopment.
Articles in the fourth section, "Independent Assessment of the Effectiveness of Psychological and Pedagogical Methods and Programs," highlight the potential application of the new projective method "Wounded Bird" as an illustration of five ways of organizing life after a traumatic event; results of the preparatory stage for implementing the program "Socio-Psychological Adaptation of Future Teaching Staff in the Context of Integration into the All-Russian Educational Space" in universities of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
Articles in the fifth section, "Professional Training of Specialists to Work with Various Categories of Children," examine issues related to the specifics of preparing special education graduates to solve professional tasks within the modern higher education system; peculiarities of emotion perception by teachers experiencing emotional burnout; contemporary trends in the study of teacher burnout in psychology and neuroscience.
The issue concludes with the section "Psychology of Personal Self-Determination in Education and Profession," which presents readers with articles dedicated to studying the dynamics of personal potential parameters in students participating in an off-site educational expedition; the relationship between emotional burnout in young teachers and job satisfaction and readiness to leave the profession; personal characteristics of athletes as predictors of sports achievements (using students of children's and youth sports schools as an example); techniques of comprehension in learning during information processing by students using analog and digital media.
