We are pleased to present a thematic issue of the journal "Psychology and Law" (Psikhologiya i Pravo), united by the key contemporary theme: "Psychology of Destructiveness and Adaptation Resources: Legal, Professional, and Personal Contexts." In this issue, we gathered research that examines from various angles the challenges individuals face in the digital age, in professional activities, and in extreme situations. The main focus of the issue is not only on the threats and destructive manifestations themselves but also on finding effective tools for assistance, prevention, and the restoration of psychological well-being.

Articles in the section "Methodological Problems of Legal Psychology" analyze threats, mechanisms of deviant behavior formation in adolescents, and maladaptive schemas in individuals deemed legally insane.

The section "Legal Psychology of Childhood" presents new methods for diagnosing school bullying, strategies for preventing delinquency, and data on how the family environment influences adolescent well-being.

In the section "Psychology of Professional Activity," special attention is paid to those working in law enforcement. The authors in their research discuss how to develop professional longevity for psychologists within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reduce victimization among cadets, and foster a positive image among leaders.

The section "Interdisciplinary Research" features articles examining such current topics as the psychological state of military personnel, work with moral injury and suicidal behavior, and assistance to the families of the deceased.

This issue will be useful for practicing psychologists, lawyers, educators, law enforcement personnel, social service workers, and all those interested in issues of countering destructive influences and strengthening the mental health of individuals and society.
