On October 19-20, a conference of the training committee of the European Association of Family Psychotherapists (EFTA) was held in Lisbon. Elena Y. Chebotareva, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Child and Family Psychotherapy at the Faculty of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at MGPPU, participated in this conference. In total, representatives of 150 educational institutions training family psychotherapists from 29 countries participated in the conference. We discussed what changes are currently taking place with families in different countries, and what challenges this poses for modern family therapists.

Elena Yurievna presented the report "The psychological well-being of the wives of Russians mobilized for their military service." The report aroused great interest and active discussion. The European colleagues expressed their willingness to cooperate in research on this problem, as well as in developing tools for providing psychological support to the families of the participants in their activities.
