Our next meeting on March 18 (4:30 PM – 5:30 PM) will be dedicated to examining stereotypes about the work of a counseling psychologist: "The Profession of 'Counseling Psychologist': Myths and Reality."

The work of a counseling psychologist is surrounded by many stereotypes that often prevent high school students from objectively assessing their aptitudes when choosing a profession. The goal of this session is to draw a clear line between common myths about a psychologist's work and the real requirements demanded of a specialist.

We will analyze which personal competencies are truly necessary for successful work in this field. The main focus of our meeting is to help participants consciously formulate individual goals for developing professionally significant personal qualities.

Speaker:

  • Elizaveta Nikolaevna Klimenkova, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Faculty of Counseling and Clinical Psychology, MSUPE.
