Sergey Kravtsov and Olga Vasilyeva Award MSUPE Scientific Team
On April 22, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation held its first-ever award ceremony for scientific teams for effective practical solutions in the field of education as part of research in priority scientific areas.
The scientific team of MSUPE, led by Doctor of Psychological Sciences G.V. Semya, Professor at the Department of Developmental Psychology named after Professor L.F. Obukhova, Faculty of Educational Psychology, MSUPE, was awarded a Letter of Gratitude from the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Education. The award recognized the team's package of educational and training programs for teachers and parents based on the psychological profile of contemporary children and adolescents and the conditions for their well-being. In 2025, a large-scale study was conducted in 76 regions of Russia, involving 142,000 children of preschool, primary school, and adolescent age.
The scientific team included faculty members of the Department of Developmental Psychology named after L.F. Obukhova: Yu.A. Kochetova, V.N. Oslon, I.V. Shapovalenko, I.Yu. Kulagina, I.A. Burlakova, I.A. Merkul, E.E. Klopotova, V.O. Volchanskaya, and U.V. Kolesnikova.
"We have decided to annually recognize outstanding work in the field of pedagogy. Today, pedagogical science and the entire education system are developing dynamically. We are making important decisions: strengthening the unified educational space, introducing unified textbooks, a system of educational work, using information technologies to support teachers. And here it is important for us to rely on advanced scientific developments. Together with the Russian Academy of Education, we have created a Coordination Council that regulates the conduct of scientific research so that it can be applied in practice",
