Training of Personnel for Rural Areas Discussed at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation
On June 11, a round table "Training of Personnel for Rural Areas: Convergence of Education, Science, and Business" was held at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. The meeting was organized by the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on the Development of Higher Education and Science, the V.I. Vernadsky Russian State University of National Economy (RGUNH) , and the Scientific and Educational Consortium "Sustainable Development of Rural Areas." The work of the discussion platform was led by the Rector of RGUNH, Elena Alexandrovna Pevtsova.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from universities such as the K.A. Timiryazev Russian State Agrarian University (RSAU-MTAA) , Stavropol State Agrarian University, State University of Management, and Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism.
Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) was represented at the event by the Vice-Rector for Educational and Social-Psychological Work, Olesya Valentinovna Vikhristyuk, and the Vice-Rector for External Relations, Khozh-Akhmed Sultanovich Khaladov.
The meeting participants focused on key problems of regional development. The experts' attention centered on: analysis of the state of labor resources in rural areas, creation of new methods for monitoring the development of rural agglomerations, and improvement of the level of local life support systems.
During the working meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between MSUPE and RGUNH named after V.I. Vernadsky.
