RUMC MSUPE Conducted a Professional Development Program on the Basics of Inclusion in Higher Education for Representatives of Partner Universities
In May 2026, the Resource Educational and Methodological Center for the Education of Persons with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs (RUMC MSUPE), as part of the State Assignment for 2026, updated and implemented the professional development program "Organizational-Managerial and Educational-Methodological Foundations of Inclusive Higher Education" (72 hours, using distance learning technologies).
Main topics of lectures and practical sessions:
- Russian legislation in the field of education for persons with disabilities and special educational needs
- Organization of special conditions and accessible informational and sociocultural environments for persons with disabilities and special educational needs in higher education
- Artificial intelligence in the education of students with disabilities
- Special educational needs of students: with visual impairments, hearing impairments, musculoskeletal disorders, high-functioning autism or Asperger's syndrome, as well as features of education for persons with disabilities, participants of the Special Military Operation
- Organization of the admissions campaign and entrance examinations for persons with disabilities and special educational needs
- Organizational-pedagogical (methodological) conditions for teaching disciplines to students with disabilities in higher education

Group Supervisor: Nastasya Vadimovna Kirsanova, Psychologist at RUMC MSUPE.
The training involved 335 representatives from 26 partner universities of RUMC MSUPE, including 180 MSUPE staff members.
The geography of participants covered 24 regions of Russia: Zaporozhye Region, Altai Krai, Republic of Bashkortostan, Amur Region, Udmurt Republic, Moscow, Moscow Region, Republic of Dagestan, Donetsk People's Republic, Kostroma Region, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Luhansk People's Republic, Stavropol Krai, Vladimir Region, Krasnodar Krai, Nizhny Novgorod Region, Novosibirsk Region, Omsk Region, Orenburg Region, Tula Region, Tomsk Region, Kherson Region, Kurgan Region, Yaroslavl Region.
