From May 18 to June 18, the Federal Resource Center for the Comprehensive Support of Children with ASD at MSUPE conducted training under the additional professional program "Preschool Education for Children with ASD: Implementation of the Federal Adapted Educational Program for Preschool Education for Students with Disabilities" (72 hours). The program was held as part of the events dedicated to the Year of Preschool Education.

The training brought together parents and specialists from 13 regions of the Russian Federation: Penza, Irkutsk, Zaporozhye, Sakhalin, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Moscow, and Rostov regions; the republics of Buryatia, Tatarstan, and Ingushetia; the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug; and Moscow.

The classes were held online in the format of webinars. They included lectures, seminars, and practical sessions. A large amount of video materials from the personal archives of teachers, speech therapists, educational psychologists, and specialists from the FRC ASD MSUPE was reviewed and analyzed. The lecturers and seminar leaders were practicing specialists from the FRC with many years of experience working with children with autism.

Course participants examined current issues related to modern educational models and variable forms of education for children with ASD, including the inclusive "resource group" model. Participants became familiar with the use of effective technologies for working with children with ASD. The training presented the technology for individualizing the adapted educational program for preschool education for children with ASD, "Skoroshkolnik," which was developed, tested, and implemented at the FRC ASD MSUPE.

The conduct of these courses acquires particular significance during the Year of Preschool Education, which focuses attention on the development of the preschool education system and improving the quality of education for every child. The training of qualified specialists is a crucial condition for ensuring the accessibility and effectiveness of preschool education, including for children with ASD and other disabilities.

The Federal Resource Center at MSUPE continues its work on disseminating best practices and developing a professional community of specialists providing quality and inclusive preschool education in the regions of Russia.

We thank all participants for their active work, professional interest, and commitment to developing modern approaches to supporting children with ASD in the preschool education system!
