Dissemination of the Methodology of the Russian Psychological Scientific School: International Webinars Held at MSUPE

In July 2026, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) conducted a series of educational events as part of the project "Dissemination of Best Practices of Russian Education within the Framework of International Cooperation in General Education on Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Participants in Educational Relations in Russian Schools Abroad, Considering Multicultural Specifics and the Tasks of Preserving and Strengthening Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values." The events were dedicated to disseminating the methodology of the Russian psychological scientific school.

As part of this series, three webinars were held on current issues of psychological and pedagogical support for participants in educational relations:

On July 9, R.V. Chirkina, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Legal Psychology and Law, Faculty of Legal Psychology, MSUPE, delivered an online lecture: "Prevention of Emotional and Behavioral Problems in Children through Skill Development".
On July 21, V.K. Zaretsky, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Individual and Group Psychotherapy, Faculty of Counseling and Clinical Psychology, MSUPE, introduced participants to the possibilities of the reflective-activity approach in overcoming learning difficulties through collaboration between a child and an adult.
On July 28, G.A. Tsukerman, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Primary School Student Psychology, Federal Scientific Center for Psychological and Interdisciplinary Research (FSC PMI), and O.L. Obukhova, Researcher at the Laboratory of Primary School Student Psychology, FSC PMI, presented practices for organising collaborative learning activities aimed at developing student initiative and a subjective position.

The events were attended by over 200 teaching staff, educational psychologists, heads of educational organisations, and specialists engaged in pedagogical activities abroad.

The events were held in an interactive format, allowing educators from the Republic of Abkhazia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Armenia, and Mongolia to discuss contemporary Russian practices, exchange professional experiences, and consider the possibilities of their application in a multicultural educational environment.
