Network Forum on the Development of Inclusion in Higher Pedagogical Education to Be Held in Nizhny Novgorod on October 22–23

The Resource Educational and Methodological Center for the Education of Persons with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs (RUMC) of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE), together with the RUMC of Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after K. Minin and the RUMC of Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, announce the Network (Sectoral) Forum "Inclusive Higher Pedagogical Education: Trends and Development Prospects," to be held on October 22–23, 2026.

The forum organizers are the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Resource Educational and Methodological Centers for the Education of Persons with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs, established on the basis of universities subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Education. The forum aims to discuss the main directions for the development of inclusive higher psychological and pedagogical education, contributing to the formation of inclusive culture values in Russian universities.

The forum will be attended by representatives of federal and regional executive authorities dealing with various issues of education for persons with disabilities; teachers and staff of higher education institutions implementing psychological and pedagogical training programs and specialisations; representatives of public associations of persons with disabilities, non-profit organisations, and students, including inclusive volunteers – all those interested in studying and developing inclusive processes in the educational and social environment.

The 2026 forum will be held in a mixed format: in-person at 9 Chelyuskintsev St., Nizhny Novgorod, with the possibility of remote participation. Travel and accommodation costs for participants are covered by the sending party; meals for participants will be provided by the host party.
