National Project "Youth and Children": A Strategic Session with Management Teams of Russian Pedagogical Universities Is Taking Place in Moscow
On October 26, at VDNKh in the "Business.Technograd" pavilion in Moscow, a Strategic Planning Session with Management Teams of Pedagogical Universities on the development of comprehensive educational and upbringing clusters for training highly qualified pedagogical personnel started. The key goal of the event is to form a coordinated approach to the development of pedagogical universities as comprehensive educational and upbringing clusters and to define a common understanding of the priorities for the development of pedagogical education in line with the objectives of the national project "Youth and Children".
The work of the event is aimed at designing solutions in the main areas of university activity: management, upbringing, education, science, and media support. The session participants — rectors, vice-rectors, and heads of key departments of pedagogical universities — together with leading experts will develop portfolios of flagship projects for their universities: practical development tools and mechanisms for evaluating the effectiveness of university activities.
The program of the first day began with a ceremonial opening. The participants were welcomed by Stanislav Naydenov, Director of the Department of Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and Khozh-Ahmed Khaladov, Vice-Rector for External Relations of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education. Then educational lectures were held with the participation of leading experts in the education system Vitold Yasvin and Vladimir Shapovalov.
After that, the management teams immersed themselves in the work of functional groups in key areas, where, under the guidance of relevant leaders and experts, they began designing practical solutions capable of setting the vector for the development of pedagogical education in the country.
Also on the first day of the session, a meeting of the Association for the Development of Pedagogical Education was held, at which participants discussed the vectors for the development of the industry.
The Strategic Planning Session with Management Teams of Pedagogical Universities, which is a platform for joint discussion of priority areas for the development of pedagogical education, exchange of best practices, and formation of management decisions, will last until October 29.
