New issue of the journal "Social Psychology and Society": about the attitude of colleagues, professional longevity and much more

"The articles in the new issue (No. 1, 2025) of the journal "Social Psychology and Society" cover diverse topics.

In the 'Theoretical Research' section, authors Volkova N.V., Bordunos A.K., Chiker V.A., Pochebut L.G., and Korableva S.A. present a review of the thematic field studying social capital across generations in organizations of various ownership types, applying digitalization approaches (digital modeling) to scientific publication databases.

The 'Empirical Research' section features: a study on generalized factors of creative thinking and diversity of sociocultural identity by authors Gryaznova-Dobshinskaya V.G., Korobova S.Yu., Dmitrieva Yu.A., Glukhova V.A., and Koltunov E.I.; an analysis of the relationship between political self-efficacy (perceived autonomous political climate) and attitudes toward the political system in Russia by authors Gulevich O.A. and Chernov D.N.; and an examination of the role of perceived threats in supporting policies of equal and unequal income distribution by authors Prusova I.S. and Gorokhova A.S.

Researchers from Vietnam Ma T.N., Vu H.V., Dao T.H., and Nguyen T.K. demonstrate how hostile attitudes from colleagues and supervisors affect employees' emotional state and the significance of cultural values in this context, particularly the collectivist value orientation characteristic of their country.

The article by authors Samokhvalova A.G., Vishnevskaya O.N., Tikhomirova E.V., and Shipova N.S. focuses on identifying socialization challenges and world perception peculiarities among adolescents living in conflict zones (Luhansk People's Republic) and remote regions (Kostroma Oblast) during hybrid warfare.

Authors Molokostova A.M. and Kosmacheva M.N. present research on parasocial relationships frequently emerging in the modern world among users of contemporary media (primarily television and social networks). The article by authors Berezina T.N., Stelmakh S.A., and Saralpova D.I. discusses a cross-cultural study of factors influencing expected professional longevity in Russia and Kazakhstan.

The 'Methodological Tools' section publishes three new methodologies: Tarasov S.V. presents a modification and psychometric validation of the 'Group Reflexivity' questionnaire by T.A. Nestik; Yenin V.V. introduces the development and validation of the 'Types of Role Self-Efficacy' questionnaire; Nichko N.V. and Gurieva S.D. present the adaptation of the Reactance Scale by Mertz-Hong for Russian-speaking samples.

The issue concludes with an article by Subbotina N.D. in the 'Discussions and Debates' section, where the author engages in polemics with previous contributors V.N. Pavlenko and N.I. Semechkin regarding the interpretation of S. Milgram's experiment.
