
On April 23–24, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Psychological Services at Universities: Challenges and Development Prospects" was held in Moscow at the Russian Academy of Education. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Education.
The conference was dedicated to discussing current issues related to the development of psychological services within the system of higher education. The program covered both scientific research and applied practices in psychological support for students. Approaches to creating a psychologically safe educational environment, technologies for emergency and crisis assistance, as well as methods for prevention and early detection of maladjustment among students and university staff were presented.
The event was attended by representatives of higher education institutions, heads and specialists of psychological services, faculty members, researchers, postgraduate and master's students, practicing psychologists, and representatives of relevant public organizations.
From MSUPE, Ekaterina Vladimirovna Anisimova, Head of the Psychological Support Sector of the Department of Educational and Social Work, participated in the conference. In addition to contributing to the preparation of a report, she co-chaired the section "Features of Providing Emergency and Crisis Psychological Assistance to Students and Staff of Higher Education Institutions."
Georgy Aleksandrovich Dyadkin, Assistant to the Vice-Rector for Educational and Socio-Psychological Work, made a report on diagnosing student radicalization to prevent extremist behavior in online and offline environments. Olga Aleksandrovna Zmeenkova, a psychologist from the Psychological Support Sector of the Department of Educational and Social Work, also participated in the conference.
In their report, MSUPE specialists highlighted their experience in diagnosing and monitoring indicators of socio-psychological maladjustment among students. They presented data on the use of methods aimed at identifying anxiety and depressive states, tendencies toward aggression, xenophobic attitudes, extremism, and other risky behaviors. The report was supplemented with the results of selective screening and analysis of survey findings.
The participation of MSUPE staff in the conference is a part of the university's ongoing efforts to ensure psychological safety and prevent destructive behavior among students.
