From April 20 to April 26, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) hosted an International Spring School. During the week in Moscow, students from Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) attended trainings, lecture and practical classes, and and got acquainted with the activities the activities of MSUPE's research and educational centers. The program of the Spring School was supervised by Y.Y. Mikhedova, Head of the International Relations Department.
The introduction to the university began with a meeting with representatives of the Faculty of Educational Psychology. The guests were welcomed by Dean M.A. Safronova and Head of the Department of Developmental Psychology named after Professor L.F. Obukhova Yu.A. Kochetova. During the first meeting, all participants emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation between our universities and expressed interest in intensive and productive interaction in various areas of work.
ASPU students visited the Research and Education Center for Neurocognitive Research (MSUPE MEG Center), where they were introduced to Russia's only magnetoencephalography (MEG) system for conducting neurophysiological and psychophysiological research.
The guests were then received at the Demonstration Exam Center, the Center for Evidence-Based Social Design, the University Multidisciplinary Psychological Center, and the unique Rublevo Student Center.
As part of the educational program, ASPU students participated in an interactive lecture-discussion "Modern Trends in Developmental and Age Psychology," a workshop "Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Preschool and Primary General Education Programs," attended a master's lecture "Fundamentals of General (Genetic) Psychology," and a student quiz.
An important event was the visit to open lessons at Experimental School No. 91, which implements the educational system of D.B. Elkonin - V.V. Davydov.
At the end of the events, students were given certificates of completed MSUPE's International Spring School program. Participants of the Spring School shared that such an intensive educational program allowed them to exchange opinions, significantly expand their professional horizons and knowledge in the field of psychology and pedagogy.
The educational part of the visit was complemented by a cultural program. Students were given a sightseeing tour visiting all the iconic and historically significant places of the capital, as well as introduced to the national center "Russia" at Expocentre.
The eighth academic exchange program "Spring School," successfully implemented jointly with specialists and students of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University, is a confirmation of fruitful bilateral cooperation. We believe that this format will allow our universities to continue exchanging experience and best practices.
