Webinar announcement

Despite the long history of projective psychology and the use of drawing methods, specialists' attitudes towards them remain ambiguous. Although projective methods are widely used in clinical and counseling practice, with new techniques emerging and new evaluation methods being proposed, many questions still require reflection and further serious study.

The webinar will examine the stages of development of projective drawing methods, their problems, possibilities and limitations. Special attention will be paid to contemporary research on the application, evaluation and interpretation of the "Draw-a-Person" test.

Interpreting the results of this test is often difficult as it requires educational psychologists to have sufficient experience and high qualifications. However, modern artificial intelligence technologies enable automated analysis of scanned drawings and provide recommendations to educational psychologists for interpreting test results.

The webinar will present interim results of the development of a neural network software-hardware complex for diagnostics based on the "Draw-a-Person" test at the Department of Digital Education, MSUPE. It will cover technologies for analyzing pencil drawings using neural networks, models for detecting and analyzing key drawing elements, and methods for generating final recommendations for educational psychologists using large language models.

The event is open to specialists in measurement in psychology and education, developers of psychodiagnostic tools, administrators and teachers from higher education institutions, vocational schools, secondary schools, professional development institutions, a wide range of specialists and experts in data-based education analysis and management, as well as specialists in machine learning and data mining.
