
On September 9-10, as part of World Suicide Prevention Day, a round table and a series of master classes on "Prevention of Crisis States in the Youth Environment: Preventing Risks of Aggressive, Auto-Aggressive Behavior and Radicalization" will be held at the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education.
World Suicide Prevention Day is an annual event initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO) with the support of the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), aimed at strengthening commitment to and encouraging activities for suicide prevention.

Target Audience: Heads and specialists of psychological services in the higher education system, faculty of higher education institutions, heads and employees of divisions of the Russian Academy of Education, counseling psychologists, psychiatrists, specialists of hotlines providing remote support to the population (helplines), undergraduate and specialist program students (3rd–5th year), master's and postgraduate students in the field of study 37.03.01 Psychology (specializations: Psychological Counseling and Psychodiagnostics, Clinical Psychology, Extreme Psychology).
Goal: Discussing issues of aggressive and auto-aggressive behavior in the youth environment to determine the current profile of crisis states among modern youth for developing strategies for its diagnosis, prevention, and psychological correction (individual psychological and crisis assistance, routing for obtaining additional medical, psychological, and psychotherapeutic support), as well as discussing a model of a favorable environment for youth capable of compensating for the negative influence of structural factors contributing to radicalization.
Objectives:
- Discussing effective programs for psychological support of youth and strategies for providing crisis psychological assistance in cases of identified risks of aggressive and auto-aggressive behavior;
- Discussing modern methods and forms of prevention of radicalization and extremism in the youth environment;
- Discussing issues of interdepartmental cooperation on the prevention and correction of crisis states (destructive, suicidal behavior) and risks of radicalization among students;
- Discussing current diagnostic tools for identifying factors in the development of aggressive and auto-aggressive behavior and radicalization among youth.
