An MSUPE Lecturer Became a Laureate of the V All-Russian Competition for Young Researchers in the Field of Correctional Pedagogy and Special Psychology

On September 25, the final of the V All-Russian Competition for Young Researchers in the Field of Correctional Pedagogy and Special Psychology – 2025 was held at the site of the Institute of Correctional Pedagogy. The competition organizer is the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

The goal of the competition was to support the career, professional, and personal growth of young researchers, as well as innovative scientific developments in the field of education and psychological-pedagogical habilitation and rehabilitation of children and adults with disabilities. The competition attracted over one hundred and twenty applicants from 22 regions of Russia. These included representatives from the oblasts: Belgorod, Vladimir, Volgograd, Kaluga, Kursk, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ulyanovsk, Kherson; krais: Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Primorsky; the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra; the republics: Udmurtia, Chuvashia; and the city of Moscow.

Alexander Ilyich Yevtushenko, a lecturer at the Department of Special (Defectological) Education, presented the project: "Features of Physical Development as Prerequisites for Forming the Dance Culture of Primary Schoolchildren with Intellectual Disabilities" in the nomination "Content and Methods of General Education (School for a Special Child)." The project's content involved determining the levels of physical development as a basis for the dance activity of primary schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities through comprehensive examination and designing a model for teaching dance activity. By the decision of the jury, A.I. Yevtushenko was awarded the title of "Laureate."
