On October 3 and 4, 2025, the Laboratory of Virtual Reality and Personal Reserve Capabilities, under the direction of Professor, Doctor of Psychological Sciences Tatyana Nikolaevna Berezina, organized training on the topic "Basics of Working in the Varwin Education VR Constructor" for undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Extreme Psychology at MSUPE.

The sessions were conducted by Stanislav Sergeevich Nikitenko — an employee of the Educational and Scientific Laboratory of Experimental Psychology at the Department of Psychology and Human Capital Development of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and a lead specialist at the "CyberHub" Immersive Technologies Group.

Under his guidance, students mastered basic skills in working with VR tools: from creating 360° panoramas and using conditional operators to working with functions, lighting, and loops. The culmination of the training was the creation of their own virtual projects and their demonstration on a VR headset.

During the training, Tatyana Nikolaevna Berezina - Head of the VR Laboratory, Professor of the Department of Scientific Foundations of Extreme Psychology, spoke to students about the prospects for applying virtual reality in the psychological practice of professional duty. She emphasized that VR could become an effective tool in training specialists working under conditions of excessive psychological load. Tatyana Nikolaevna shared plans for future projects, including the development of VR programs for training cosmonauts, simulating extreme situations during long-duration space flights.

Tatyana Alexandrovna Finogenova, a faculty member of the Department of Scientific Foundations of Extreme Psychology, presented examples of the practical use of VR technologies in educational and psychopreventive activities, emphasizing the significance of immersive technologies for forming personal psychological safety.

The sessions are held within the framework of the Russian Science Foundation project No. 25-28-01251 "Physical Culture in Virtual Reality as a Factor in Enhancing the Individual-Personal Safety of Students with Health Deviations" (responsible parties: MSUPE Associate Professor Anna Viktorovna Litvinova, and staff members Ksenia Vladimirovna Zavyazkina and Kirill Eduardovich Buzanov).

For many, this was their first experience of immersion in the world of virtual reality design, which opens up broad opportunities for future psychological research and practice.

According to the participants, the VR Laboratory of the Faculty of Extreme Psychology is becoming a platform where, at the intersection of science and technology, new forms of specialist training are emerging. Here, future psychologists not only master modern digital tools but also learn to create innovative projects capable of forming the basis for practical psychological assistance in the conditions of the 21st century.
