The editorial board of the journal "Experimental Psychology" is preparing a relevant thematic section, "Psychology of Human Life Environments" (No. 2, 2026), for publication.

Human existence always occurs within physical life environments: the environment influences the personality, and the personality transforms the environment, projecting its qualities into it and realizing itself within it. The mutual influence of humans and the environment is the theme of the new issue of the journal "Experimental Psychology."

The publication of research on human interaction with natural and built environments is planned, along with the presentation of new methods for studying and measuring this interaction, and the analysis of specific cases (cities, neighborhoods, offices, etc.). The authors' works in this issue will be dedicated to new phenomena in environmental psychology: urban stress, eco-anxiety, as well as "healthy" professional, educational, and other environments (excluding digital and virtual environments).

The thematic focus may be continued in subsequent issues of the journal "Experimental Psychology."

The invited editor of the thematic section is Sofya Kimovna Nartova-Bochaver, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor at HSE University, and Head of the Laboratory "Psychology of the Salutogenic Environment."
