In November, the International Scientific-Practical Conference "Scientific Readings in Memory of E.O. Smirnova: 'Modern Childhood: Sociocultural and Psychological Problems'" was held in the legendary premises of the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education at 9 Mokhovaya Street.

The Faculty of Legal Psychology of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) presented a master class titled "Folklore and Play Practice." The session detailed the features of a folklore and play program proposed by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for implementation in Russian preschools.

Traditional games are considered a means to enhance the mobilization readiness of young children for actions in situations of terrorist threat. Our work continues the line of scientific and practical developments pursued by Elena Olegovna Smirnova. The conference confirmed the enduring relevance of play in both theory and practice.

Our master class attracted interest not only from kindergarten teachers but also from fellow conference researchers. We were delighted to play together and explore the possibilities of traditional games.

The master class was conducted by V.A. Chernushevich, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Psychology and Law, assisted by first-year student trainees E.M. Epifanova and D.A. Bushueva, who are completing their practical play training this semester.
